Our typical wall panels can be made to your specifications in terms of wall thickness and R-Value. Common choices are R39 (2x4 interior wall with 6" cellulose cavity) and R50 (2x6 interior wall with 7" cellulose cavity), both sheathed with 1.5" wood fibreboard insulation.

All of our wall panels include an interior service cavity, ready for on-site rough-ins and final insulation. Panels are wrapped and sealed with high-performance membranes and strapped with 1x4 vertical strapping, ready for exterior cladding

About R-Value

A cross-section diagram of a SEED wall panel showing insulation and depth options

SEED wall panels, as well as roof and floor panels, can be adjusted to meet your desired R-Value.

Most commonly, wall panels include a 7-inch exterior cavity filled with dense-packed cellulose insulation. This results in an R-Value of R50 when combined with natural insulation in the interior cavity and wood fibre board exterior continuous insulation.
